New Directions for Pinterest, LinkedIn and J.K. Rowling [Podcast]

On today’s Morning Media Menu (MP3 link), I joined GalleyCat editor Jason Boog to talk about how LinkedIn’s latest acquisition will change the social network.

We also explored the new opt-out code at Pinterest. Obviously photographers will want to get paid for their work when pinning leads to sales, but is what Pinterest doing actually illegal? Jason and I examined the evidence.

Other topics included J.K. Rowling’s first novel for adults. The news has been spreading like wildfire on Twitter and other social media sites. The Harry Potter author must be ready for a break from Hogwarts by now, but we weren’t sure if we could say the same for her fans.
