NPR Mobile Strategy Mixes Text With Live And On-Demand Audio

…and installed it and tested it myself. I’m really impressed by what I’ve seen (and heard) so far. I really like the idea of being able to listen to programs both streaming live (from any NPR affiliate) or on-demand. Some of the stations I took a look at (like KUAC in Fairbanks, AK) provide streams in high and low quality. It is not obvious which is which from the on-screen list though. So, you need to find out by checking one of the feeds if you see more than one stream for a single radio station.
