Pocket-lint reports that Samsung’s L870 handset will be the first non-iPhone to use Apple’s Safari browser.
Set to debut in August in Europe, the phone has a slider design, not a touch-screen, but it will use Apple’s Webkit-based Safari as its Web browser, the article says.
The L870 runs on the Symbian S60 platform and comes with 100MB of internal memory. On the feature side, there’s a 2.4-inch color display, a three-megapixel camera, an FM radio, a music player and Bluetooth.
