I’ve long considered trying SugarSync which seems to be highly regarded by people I know who’ve used it. But, I’ve been reluctant to try pony up the $49.99 per year for the basic service that offers 30GB storage. SugarSync also has plans for 60, 100, and 250GB of storage.
However, James Kendrick’s note over on jkOnTheRun…
…means that fence sitters like me have a free option to play with before forking over cash. 2GB may be small, but it is quite enough storage to get started and get an idea if the service is useful to you. With services like Microsoft’s Live Mesh offering gigabyte of free online storage for mobile devices, we will probably see this market heat up even more.
