ABC’s “Nightline” is expanding its relationship with Twitter by launching “NightTline,” a new half-hour online program hosted by the show’s anchors and correspondents. “NightTline,” which debuts Wednesday, will provide a forum for viewers to simultaneously discuss and debate the news of the day through Twitter.
Episodes will adopt the program’s “Face-Off” model – a live debate on issues in the national dialogue.
Wednesday’s show asks, “Is torture ever acceptable?” Terry Moran will anchor the program.
“Nightline” and its anchors and correspondents have a combined one million+ Twitter followers.
