No App Needed for Google+ Reshare on Android or iPhone

Google continues to attempt to move people away from native platform mobile and desktop apps. The latest is an enhancement to the Google+ mobile web site. Visiting plus.google.com using the Android or iPhone (also iPad) mobile browser now provides the ability to reshare a post written by someone else.

You can do this by:

- Selecting the post of interest
- Tapping the greater-than sign (>) at the bottom right of the display
- Select “Share this post” from the “More Actions” menu

The announcement itself was made as a Google+ post with the recommendation to: I recommend that you “reshare” this post from your mobile web browser!

Note that this feature is not available in mobile browser that do not support the required HTML5 and Javascript functions. It does not, for example, work when using the Windows Phone 7 browser.
