Nokia E72 Announced While the U.S. Gets Comfy with the E71x

A number of smartphone enthusiasts were excited and happy to see the Nokia E71x available in the U.S. through AT&T Wireless. And, while it remains a very good and affordable S60 smartphone, it looks like the rest of the world is going to get the even cooler E72…

- 5 megapixel camera
- HSDPA wireless data offering up to 10.2Mbps speed
- Active noise cancellation during phone calls
- Digital compass

The E72 is scheduled to ship during the 3rd quarter of 2009.
