Today’s installment of “Time to Get Into Mobile Advertising” involves Nokia, which just launched two new ad services, as summarized in this MocoNews report:
Nokia Ad Service: “consists of a group of mobile publishers forming a mobile ad network and a platform to deploy, manage and optimize mobile advertising campaigns,” according to Nokia.
Nokia Advertising Connector: “operates as an intelligent switch, selecting between text, visual, audio and video ads – depending on the user’s context.”
Mobile Advertising is becoming a complicated tangle to sort out because of the different kinds of players, as MocoNews indicates: mobile search engines, mobile browser companies, user interface developers, on-device service providers, Web advertising firms, phone vendors, and carriers.
