Omnifone Claims Its Music Service Leads in UK

Omnifone is claiming that its MusicStation subscription mobile music service has more subscribers than any other music service in the UK – including the ones that are PC-based. However, as Mobile Entertainment reports, Ominfone, whose MusicStation is only available through Vodafone UK, “doesn’t offer up any figures to back up its claim.”

Napster, which offers an unlimited service in the UK, doesn’t break out its subscribers by region, so it’s rather difficult to put a lot of faith in Omnifone’s claim.
