Score one for Google in the latest round of mobile search wars. Opera has opted to drop Yahoo in favor of Google as the default search engine for its Opera Mobile and Opera Mini Web browsers.
According to mocoNews, the move comes roughly a year after the Norwegian browser outfit ditched Google and switched to Yahoo as its preferred search provider.
Earlier this month, T-Mobile ditched Google in favor of Yahoo for its European mobile portal and Nokia choose Google as the search engine of choice for its handsets.
