More than 20.5 million consumers had the Opera Mini on their mobile phones at the end of February, an increase of 160% over the past year. Last month alone, these folks used the browser to view 7.3 billion pages, resulting in Opera Mini servers processing more than 1.2 petabytes of data.

The four most-visited sites in the US stayed the same – Google, Facebook, MySpace and Wikipedia. Yahoo relinquished its place in the top five, dropping down to seventh place as NYTimes.com and YouTube moved up the list to five and six, respectively.

Much of the report focuses on the Commonwealth of Independent States, where Russia, Ukraine and Belarus are the top countries for mobile Web use.
