Hothand Wireless announced it has joined forces with the Pac-10 Fitness Challenge, which begins this week as thousands of students, faculty, staff, alumni and supporters throughout Pac-10 universities participate in a week-long fitness competition, in order to offer related mobile programming and advertising.
Here’s the rundown: participants log their total exercise minutes in different sports, including running, swimming and cycling. The “most fit” person is the one who spends the most time doing these things. On mobile devices, both participants and fans can check out the competition by navigating to pac10.hwwt.com. Fox Sports Enterprises is sponsoring the event.
Last month, Hothand Wireless announced that it was expanding its mobile college network to include Alabama, Arizona, Georgia Tech, Ohio State, Oregon State, Portland State, Stanford, UCLA, USC and Washington State.
