PandoraLogo.jpgOnline music service Pandora will go into sharing mode Wednesday night, adding features that allow users to share stations and songs on Facebook and Twitter, as well as pushing its already-existing Gifting Pandora feature, TechCrunch reported.

The site’s main playback pages will now feature buttons for Twitter, Facebook, email and gift, and TechCrunch reported that the Twitter button will use an application-program interface to allow users to enter their 140-character messages and tweet songs or stations, while the Facebook button will use Facebook Connect, and 30-second song previews can be played on Facebook.

And Pandora chief technology officer Tom Conrad described Gifting Pandora as “sort of our version of making a mix tape for someone,” adding that the free service allows users to choose up to five artists or songs, name the stations, choose skins, add messages and email them.
