PGA, Anheuser-Busch Launch Mobile Campaign

PGA_Tour_Mobile.jpgAccording to MediaPost, mobile marketing company g8wave is partnering with Anheuser-Busch and the PGA Tour to launch a text-messaging campaign in advance of The Barclays.

The Barclays are the first tournament of the 2008 FedExCup Playoffs series; it takes place from August 19 through 24 in Paramus, NJ.

To promote the event, g8wave will launch a mobile contest where fans can text in to win prizes, including a chance to play golf at The Barclays host Ridgewood Country Club, VIP packages to New York Yankees or New York Giants games, and dozens of Michelob Golf prize packs that include golf paraphernalia. according to the report.
