PGATourPlayoffsLogo.jpgAs part of its coverage of the four golf tournaments that make up the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedExCup, PGATour.com will focus on each course’s signature hole, providing live streaming from those holes throughout the tournaments, as well as integrating Twitter, Facebook and MySpace into its live media player.

The site will also debut a larger video player with multiple stream rates, as well as content within the live-video experience including player scorecards, a live leader board, digital-video-recorder functionality and customizable views of the video screen.

And PGATour.com will offer Twitter feeds with real-time play-by-play insights and analysis from the courses.

The four tournaments are: The Barclays, Aug. 27-30; the Deutsche Bank Championship, Sept. 4-7; the BMW Championship, Sept. 10-13; and The Tour Championship Presented by Coca-Cola, Sept. 24-27.

PGATour.com vice president and general manager Lee Bushkell said:

We’re very excited about the enhancements we have implemented to help fans follow the action and excitement throughout the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedExCup. Considering the changes that have been made to the Playoffs this year that guarantee a dramatic buildup to The Tour Championship Presented by Coca-Cola, there’s more reason than ever to follow all four Playoff events closely to see who ultimately wins the FedExCup.
