Pinger has released a new customizable mobile voicemail service that it says is easy to use, visual and even fun.
Pinger voicemail lets users record unique, personalized greetings for each person in their address book and receive visual voicemail that displays information about the sender, message length and date and time for each message. They can also manage voicemail accounts and access and reply to messages from the Web or from within the voicemail without needing to make a separate call.
The company doesn’t charge for the service, but warns that the carriers will likely charge their normal rates for phone calls, text messatges and call forwarding services. It’s available to Alltel, AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless customers.
