Disney Publishing has adapted the Pixar short film “La Luna” into a new interactive storybook for the iPad that takes users behind the scenes of the film. It’s called La Luna: The Story Project for iPad and it tells the story of how the animated film was created.
The $3.99 app takes users through the film development process and illustrates how tools like watercolors helped enhance the story. It includes interactive videos, storyboards and a digital picture book version of the film. The app includes a video of the short film, its first release since it was released in the theaters.
Here is more from iTunes: La Luna is the timeless fable of a young boy coming of age in the most peculiar of circumstances. Featuring original artwork created by the film’s director, Enrico Casarosa, this interactive story experience will delight animation fans of all ages.”
