August may be just around the corner, but it’s not too late to plan a last minute vacation. Roadtrippers.com is a new web app that lets you map out and curate your own road trip.
The tool, which is currently in beta, allows users to choose a destination and map a driving adventure along the way. The app lets users search for local curiosities, entertainment, food, attractions and accommodations along the way, and then make a personalized trip based on their findings. Once a trip is created, users can print out their itinerary. Soon the platform will allow users to save itineraries to a mobile phone.
It also calculates distances based on time, length and the estimated fuel cost, so users can plan ahead. Cincinnati-based James and Tatiana Fisher co-founded the tool after years of adventures on the road.
