Platform program manager Josh Elman, who joined Facebook in early 2008, is leaving the social-networking site in search of a more hands-on product role, Inside Facebook reported.
Elman worked on the launch of Facebook Connect and aided companies such as The Huffington Post and JibJab in integrating with Facebook Connect, according to Inside Facebook.
Prior to Facebook, Elman served as head of product management at Zazzle and senior product manager at LinkedIn.
Elman told Inside Facebook he is leaving on positive terms and exploring several “exciting opportunities.”
