On today’s social media edition of the Morning Media Menu, GalleyCat editor Jason Boogrevealed a chart that shows precisely how much time people can waste online over the course of five years.

Twitter just released its self-serve advertising suite for all users to promote their work on the social network. Meanwhile, Foursquare’s  in-app ad program could bring big changes to the network when it rolls out this summer. Yahoo has also given some of its advertising units a new look.
