Podcast: The Social Sides of Barnes & Noble, Amazon

On today’s edition of the Morning Media Menu, GalleyCat editor Jason Boog announced Barnes & Noble’s NOOK Press, which will go head-to-head with Amazon’s publishing tools for self-published authors.

On the subject of Amazon, we discussed the publisher that took to social media to improve the platform’s limited language range for digital books.

Finally, we discussed highlights from this year’s Shorty Awards for the best social media content of the year, whether it’s coming from a college campus or the inside of a prison cell.
