Politico Pro Staffs Up Prior to February Debut

Politico Pro, the subscription series from Politico set to debut next month, announced four new hires.

David Nather is now aboard as senior health-care reporter. He had been with Bloomberg’s BGov project, and he is the author of The New Health Care System: Everything You Need to Know and the co-author, with former Sen. Tom Daschle (D-S.D.), of Getting It Done: How Obama and Congress Finally Broke the Stalemate to Make Way for Health Care Reform.

Lester Feder was also added to the health-care team. He has reported for publications including Newsweek, The Nation, and Slate, and he also served as Web editor for HealthReformGPS.org.

Former Palm Beach Post environmental reporter and editor Bob King joined Politico Pro as deputy energy editor.

And the subscription service added Web producer Brittany Hackett, who had been with Advisory Board’s news division, and who also served as editor-in-chief of The Gargoyle, the student newspaper at Flagler College.
