potfarmlogo[1] One month ago, we interviewed the creators of Pot Farm – to be precise, we interviewed their Ranger Dick character – about how they created, promoted and grew their game. Since then, the game has grown from it’s 500,000 monthly active users to over 1 million, and we though we’d check in with the game again to see how it got so high.

Looking at the current statistics on the game we can see that the game has grown to over 1,010,000 monthly active users and it’s steadily continuing its growth. Fans litter the application board with praises and requests for more types of seeds and items. It seems as if the Pot Farm t-shirt is also doing well, and the Pot Farm creators are updating their page every day, at least. One of the best things about the game now, and when we reviewed it earlier, was the sense of community that seems to be in this game. It’s definitely a type of counter-culture joke, and people love to get ‘in’ on the outside.

The game is still in BETA, but the graphics and interface seem very polished. There have been some UI changes since I last played the game, with some buttons in different positions than they were before, and the easy to access buttons at the bottom of the page are easy to understand

In any case, I recommend you take a look at Pot Farm and let us know what you think. I’m not sure what Facebook will do if this game continues to surge in popularity but if they get complaints about 12 year olds growing pot, they may have to take it down, and in that case you’ll have missed one of the great, but without doubt the funniest, Facebook game available today.
