Developer Health & Parenting has released a iPad app for pregnant women called Pregnancy week to week. Like other apps in the category, the new app helps expectant mothers and their partners manage pregnancy by providing useful information about the growing fetus and giving tips on how to manage things such as diet and packing the hospital bag.
Mothers, fathers and grandparents may have different questions about the pregnancy and app users can personalize their experience depending on their relationship to the baby. The app includes images of the fetus’ development through 2D images of what is going on inside. It also works as an exercise book that pregnant women can use to track things like kick counts and contraction counts, as well as their own personal health as they proceed through their pregnancy.
The app joins a busy category, as there are a number of different iPad apps to help women manage their pregnancies including: I’m Expecting; Baby Bump; The Baby Center’s My Pregnancy Today; and Sprout, to name a few.
