If you’ve wanted to stream live video from your Android phone… Well, you can, but be aware that is an alpha release…

Qik on Android: early alpha now available

This means it could be buggy and unstable. So, don’t be surprised if Qik crashes or does other nasty deeds on your phone. But, if you are willing to deal with these kind of typical alpha release issues, here’s what Qik says this alpha release brings to your Android (OS 1.5) phone:

- Live streaming with live chat
- Share videos to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube
- Ability to set your videos to Private / Public with a touch of a button
- Add Title / Description to the video prior
