The folks at Adobe are reportedly getting tired of not knowing when – or if – Apple plans to add Flash support to the iPhone, mocoNews reports, citing a Wall Street Journal story. According to the post, Adobe spokesman Ryan Stewart wrote on his blog that Apple chief Steve Jobs is the only one who knows the answer.

There is some speculation that we might get an answer of some sort when Apple releases the iPhone SDK in the next week or two. If the toolkit doesn’t enable Flash support, then the question will remain unanswered.

Word is that Apple’s lack of Flash support in the device isn’t technology-related, but is part of a long-standing feud between the companies dating back several years to when Adobe “stopped supporting Macs and then released software that was only compatible with Microsoft products,” mocoNews says.
