Reggie Bush’s Twitter Followers Think NFL Lockout Is No Laughing Matter

The National Football League lockout is no laughing matter to fans, as New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush was ripped by several of his Twitter followers for consecutive Tweets (here and here) making light of the situation, ESPN.com reported.

Bush Tweeted, “Everybody complaining about the lockout! Shoot I’m making the most of it! Vacation, rest, relaxing, appearances here and there! I’m good!,” followed by, “Right about now we would be slaving in 100 degree heat, practicing twice a day, while putting our bodies at risk for nothing.”

About an hour later, after much backlash, he responded, “FYI last tweet was a joke! Relax people damn it’s called sense of humor! Cry me a river why don’t you…”

Bush also got himself into hot water on Twitter last month, when he responded to the Saints’ selection of Alabama running back Mark Ingram in the NFL Draft with, “It’s been fun New Orleans,” according to ESPN.com.
