hulu-logo062310.jpg According to a report from Bloomberg, Hulu is in discussions with CBS, Viacom and Time Warner to add their content to its library of television shows and movies.

CBS is the only major broadcast network not available on the service, with the parent companies of ABC, NBC and Fox all partners in the site.

Viacom used to provide full episodes of shows such as “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” to the site, but pulled its content in April after the two sides failed to reach a deal.

Significantly, the talks appear to be tied to Hulu’s plans to launch a pay-service, which would alleviate many of the concerns of Time Warner and Viacom, which rely heavily on cable subscription fees for their revenue.

Bloomberg says subscription revenue with the service would be shared with its content partners.
