Reset Generation, the latest title from Nokia Games Publishing, has an interesting theme: it’s a video game about video games. That’s not the most intriguing part of it, though. Reset Generation is a cross-platform game that allows multiplayer action between mobile and the PC.
Players first choose one of 10 heroes representing the vast history of video games, each with his or her own unique superpower. With the end goal of – surprise! – rescuing the princess, players can either work their way through 18 single-player story missions or compete with up to four players online.
For mobiles, it’s downloadable from Nokia’s N-Gage site. For the PC, it’s available as an embeddable Web widget and as downloadable content with N-Gage-compatible devices. The mobile version will cost around 10-12 euros ($15-$18); the PC version is free.
