Resizing images is one of the simpler tasks Web users are often faced with. Whether it’s a photo we’d like to shrink so we can e-mail it to a friend, or something that needs to be resized for a blog, there are many ways to do it – but none as simple as ResizeImage. Here’s what you do:
Upload image
Select small, medium, large or original
(Use the optional advanced editor to mess with the proportion.)
Crop
Save
Sprinkle in a little Ajax for speed and add in the option to bulk upload and we could be looking at a seriously useful one-function tool.
The site is running a little slow right now, but that might be because of this morning’s TechCrunch mention.
Which Web-based image resizing tool do you favor and why?
