And, it also conflicts with the tests conducted by Wired.com this past summer which found…

Verizon Leads, AT&T Runs Last in Wired.com’s 3G Speed Test. Wired.com noted that their results supported similar findings by PC World in May 2009.

So, even if you discount my test, it is still 2-to-1 supporting the finding that AT&T has the slowest of the 3G networks in the U.S.
