RunCore Ships New Line of Low-Cost SSDs

RunCore has begun shipping their new line of SSDs, with very affordable and competitive pricing. The new line consists of drives with 16, 32, 64 and 128GB and will be priced at $69, $119, $199 and $389 respectively.

Solid State Drives (SSD) are hard drives with no moving parts, making them less liable to malfunction and able to fit in more compact form factors. SSDs began to be offered as a hard drive option in 2008 with the MacBook Air from Apple and the Dell Flash, and are seen as an important component behind the concept of the Netbook, which has been gaining popularity as of late.
