Samsung Adopts GyPSii Lifestyle

Location-aware mobile social networking platform GyPSii has inked a multi-year worldwide deal with Samsung to bundle its digital lifestyle application on several Samsung handsets.

gypsii screen_728.JPGThe arrangement calls for GyPSii to provide Samsung with technology, products, data center and branding rights on a non-exclusive basis. Initially, Samsung will bundle GyPSii with the Omnia (SGH-i900 and SGH-i780 phones, giving users access to the full suite of GyPSii features, including the ability to create and share user-generated content with GyPSii’s global user community as well as other social networks including Facebook.

Under the revenue-sharing agreement, Samsung will offer the GyPSii-enabled handsets on a global basis, with the application made available in numerous local languages.
