Scholastic Debuts New Line Of Interactive Apps



Scholastic Media
has introduced a new line of kids’ book iPad apps called “Touch & Tilt.”

The launch of the line includes three apps: I LOVE YOU THROUGH AND THROUGH, THE MAGIC SCHOOL BUS: OCEANS and GO, CLIFFORD, GO! The children’s books are all interactive, and include features such as narration, music, sound effects, interactive learning games and the ability to move the story as the reader turns their iPad. The above video illustrates these features in the Clifford app.

Deborah Forte, president of Scholastic Media and Executive Vice President of Scholastic Inc had this statement: “Interactive media is all about kids owning the experience, and Scholastic is delighted to introduce interactive reading experiences that truly put children in the driver’s seat.”
