Universal Music Group, one of the four major music labels, and SendMe, a wireless entertainment company, today announced a licensing agreement whereby UMG’s extensive catalog of music tracks would be made available to members of SendMeMobile.com, PR Newswire reports.
SendMeMobile.com is one of the millions of entertainment portals where users can download music tracks, wallpapers, and ringtones. This deal boosts their credibility, but it’s getting more and more difficult for mobile portal sites to distinguish themselves.
