There are many ways to express love on Valentine’s Day. Flowers die, chocolate distorts and people die for diamonds. This year, the folks at SingingFool want you to give the everlasting gift of song.Video Poke is a new music video Facebook app that enables users to post music videos and dedicate them to friends and loved ones. You can even get personal by designing a custom intro using text and animations.
There are over 10,000 music videos available.
The Singing Fool Web site allows registered users to create playlists and mixes of their favorite music videos (from the company’s 14k library). There are also pre-set playlists for each music genre that will play four hours of continuous music videos. These are updated daily.
Videos can be played in full-screen mode and users can submit their video for consideration. Vids must be under 7 minutes and may not contain profanity, nudity or any illegal activity.
The Facebook app lets you search featured videos and new videos. You can also save videos into a mix and review your history of sent pokes.
If you want to roll the dice and just send her a video dedication; go for it. As for me, I’ve learned over the years that tangible counts. Especially if you want to score.
