Skyfire mobile browser users can do something previously unavailable to most cell phone owners: watch streaming video for free. According to the company, Skyfire users can now watch NFL games broadcast for free on sites such as http://www.nfl.com regardless of the carrier and without any extra subscription fees.
“The excitement for the NFL football season is in full swing with more than a dozen games remaining that will be streamed on the Internet. Fans can download Skyfire and watch the Jets take on the Patriots this Thursday live from Foxborough, MA. The game can be broadcast on their phone and ready to watch wherever they happen to be.”
Skyfire runs on Windows Mobile and Symbian S60 phones; it’s a free download available at www.skyfire.com.
