Skype 3.0 Beta for Windows Mobile

…yesterday. It provides two new features for Windows Mobile Skype users:

1. File transfer
2. SMS text messaging

I installed it on an HTC TyTn (touch screen) running Windows Mobile 6.0. You can hear a brief sample of a Skype conversation from the TyTn to a desktop. My belief is that the relatively low sound quality you hear is due to the low-end microphone on the TyTn. But, I am quite satisfied with the overall Skype quality when using it with a Windows Mobile smartphone.
