snapfoo_logo.jpgIf you have been wanting to start your own photo blog without the hassles of setting up your own domain, blog site and learning about blogging platforms, you’re best bet would be new photo blogging / mobile blogging platform SnapFoo. SnapFoo founders who are self-proclaimed geeks describe their platform as a photo blog or moblog. It is pretty nifty way of starting your way into photo blogging or to put it in a simple way, sharing your photos to your friends and social networks.snapfoo_image.jpgSnapFoo, which is currently in beta provides its members three ways of uploading their photos into their own hosted sub domains on SnapFoo.com – via email, MMS and PC. With an MMS and SMS capable mobile phone and camera phone, you can start uploading your photos as soon as you register for a SnapFoo account. Once you have registered a SnapFoo account, you must register your mobile device and your email account first.

  1. To use your mobile phones, you will be asked to enter your mobile phone number and your mobile carrier. Currently, the service is available for major U.S. mobile carriers such as AT&T, Verizon Wireless, Cingular to name a few.
  2. To upload photos via email, just send your photos to post@snapfoo.com.
  3. To upload photos from your desktop, visit your SnapFoo account.

As a bonus feature, SnapFoo works with major social networking sites for easy sharing with your social networking friends. SnapFoo works as a Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and Twitter application.

If you are interested in trying out SnapFoo, which is currently in beta, I’ve got a couple of invites to share. Just leave a comment with your email address and I’ll shoot you a SnapFoo invite.
