It turns out that England may see Sony Ericsson’s new Unlimited Music service as early as next week. MocoNews reports that according to several major record label sources, the service is expected to launch within the next week, and that it’s “through a partnership with British firm Omnifone, which provides unlimited music downloads to mobile service providers.”
The report said that all four major labels have signed on, which beats Nokia’s Comes With Music service (so far, Nokia still lacks EMI’s support). Early indications are that Sony’s music service will be similar to Nokia’s unlimited subscription plan, but Sony Ericsson has released comparatively few details to date.
