EMI Music has signed on to have its digital music and music videos distributed via SpiralFrog’s ad-supported (and error-prone) download service, according to MediaPost. SpiralFrog users will have access to video and audio tracks from EMI artists such as Lenny Kravitz, David Bowie, and Coldplay. Users can also find album art and read artist bios, all in exchange for putting up with advertising.
Back in October, SpiralFrog nabbed a deal with Sony Music to make the label’s back catalog available on the SpiralFrog site right as they launched. The site also features music from Warner/Chappell Music (the global music division of Warner Music Group) and MPress Records.
