PaidContent reports Alloy Media and Marketing has acquired Takkle.com, a high school sports recruitment and social network site based in New York.
Takkle, founded in 2006, includes Sports Illustrated as a backer and content partner. It’s not clear if Takkle will continue with SI under Alloy. Takkle becomes part of the Teen.com Network which includes Alloy.com, Gurl.com and Channelone.com.
