Springpad Adds Content from Real Simple, Bookish.com; Hires New CEO

Users of Springpad, the mobile personal assistant app, will soon have access to content from Real Simple and Bookish.com.

Springpad consists of a website, iPhone/iPad, and Android apps, where you can organize and save videos and photos, tasks, products, notes, checklists, and ideas. It also provides “relevant” recommendations.

“Real Simple provides users with solutions to make their lives easier,” said Kathleen Harris, editor of RealSimple.com. “Springpad’s mission of helping people remember great ideas and get things done in a mobile-friendly way maps well with ours. We couldn’t be more excited to be working with Jacqueline and the Springpad team. It’s a natural fit.”

Book discovery site Bookish.com will provide book recommendations, reading lists, and other features, curated by editors, for Springpad.

Other companies that provide content on Springpad include TripAdvisor.com, Wayfair.com, Glamour and Women’s Health.
