Hi ThinkMobile readers - all the great mobile apps, devices and reviews are now a part of mediabistro's SocialTimes.com. Thanks for reading!

sprint-logo1.jpgWe all know that for the wireless carriers mobile data revenues are still mostly driven by connectivity (pipe) and messaging applications. Table stake features on most mobile phones today include camera and video capabilities. In order to drive continued consumer interest and usage in messaging apps, carriers need to integrate mobile behaviors (how consumers share pics and video taken on their phones) with their online behaviors (storage, sharing, etc.).

As part of this effort, today Sprint and its enabler partner, VeriSign, Inc., announced that it has added easy integration of its Picture Mail app with MySpace, Photobucket and YouTube. While Sprint indicates that more sites are to come, it really needs to round out integration with the full range of social media and photo sharing sites that consumers would want to use from their mobile phones.
