Classic gamers take note: Konami Digital Entertainment announced a partnership with Sprint to bring its mobile games library to the carrier’s wireless subscribers. That means Sprint customers can now load up Contra 4, and will soon be able to download other Konami titles including classic licensed mobile games such as Frogger, Castlevania, and Metal Gear Classic.
The company said in a statement that Sprint customers can purchase and download the games by opening the Web on enabled Sprint phones, selecting Downloads and selecting Games—or through Konami Mobile’s Web site (www.konamimobile.com). Oh, and standard data charges will apply for game downloads, and all that usual jazz.
