Starz Media has teamed with Artificial Life to develop a mobile game based on Pandorum, a horror flick coming from Starz’ Overture Films in September. The pair opted to start their partnership with Pandorum because of the movie’s “intense action-packed storylines and flexibility to be recreated on the mobile platform.”
If you’re not familiar with the film, the premise is that two crew members wake up on an abandoned spacecraft with no idea of who they are, how long they’ve been there or what their mission is. And, of course, they discover that they’re not alone, leading to all sorts of scary stuff.
Artificial Life will build the game for advanced handsets like the iPhone and Android phones, leveraging their touch-screen and motion-sensitive technology.
