Stats: Facebook vs. MySpace

Thanks to FaceReviews.com I found this nice chart with Facebook and MySpace stats for August 2007 released by Compete. How you can see Facebook is showing really impressive growth and if it will keep it’s tempo we can expect half of the MySpace traffic hitting Facebook very soon.

These stats are very interesting and they shows that Internet monster of previous years can be beat. MySpace isn’t growing anymore but Facebook is getting more and more users. Very interesting number for me was minus 20% of MySpace pageviews – is it showing that MySpace isn’t interesting for their users anymore? Since Facebook platform launch traffic for Facebook has grown over 50% and I think it shows that Facebook now are giving what people want and MySpace is in the stagnancy phase.
