According to a new study issued by consumer analysis firm Knowledge Networks, U.S. cell phone subscribers between the ages of 13 and 29 send about 20 text messages per day, compared to just two every day for consumers aged 30 to 43 and only one for users aged 44 to 64, FierceMobileContent reports.
Some other interesting facts from the study:
- 61 percent of millenials say “the more features the better” when it comes to cell phones, whereas just 27 percent of baby boomers feel the same way.
- Only 13 percent of all subscribers view the mobile Web, 8 percent of teens watch mobile video, and just 2 percent of adults watch mobile video.
