HootSuite Adds Reddit and StumbleUpon to App Directory

social dashboards, social networks, enterprise social, social commerceHootSuite today added two first-generation social media platforms to its app directory, which allows users to engage with platforms from their HootSuite dashboard. Users can now access StumbleUpon and Reddit.

The company also added Scoop.it, which allows users to curate their own magazines, and Nexalogy, which allows users to map their social media content and networks to identify influential content sources and users.

And, in a sign that social media has gone completely mainstream, HootSuite also now included Comp.ly, a tool that allows marketers to include mandatory legal disclosures in their status updates and tweets by using badges.

“Our newest wave of apps target the growing population of social business users,” HootSuite CEO, Ryan Holmes, said in a statement.

Holmes will conduct an “Ask Me Anything” Q&A session on Reddit October 31 from 10-11 Pacific.

The app directory already includes Instagram, Flickr, YouTube, Tumblr, Evernote, Constant Contact and others. In a recent poll, HootSuite users voted for Pinterest as the network they would most like added.
