What’s the first thing you do when you wake up? Even if it isn’t the first thing you do, we bet scanning through stuff online happens pretty early in that morning ritual.
Rather than waking up and scanning through multiple applications trying to play catch up, wouldn’t it be nice to receive a daily digest that consolidates at least some of it for you?
Sunrise brings important reminders and events to you in one email via a clean interface. And it’s free!
What is it exactly? Sunrise combines Facebook, Google Calendar, LinkedIn and more into a nicely designed daily email that looks like this:
Why do they use your Facebook account? “To include birthdays and events into your Sunrise.” But they say they’ll never post to Facebook ‘on your behalf’ (like other apps do).
And the part we love the bestest is its newest LinkedIn integration:
Remember the last time you were trying to know more about the people you’re about to meet in 10 minutes? What company they are working for? Where did they go to school? Or even how they look like?
For every event that involves other people, we’ve designed a private page with all the information you need to know quickly. We’ll be able to find more about everyone: current position, previous experiences and education.
And you can edit your settings to disable any of the applications, as well as particular offerings in each. And finally, you can add multiple Google accounts. So if you have more than one calendar, you can get updates on all of them in one place.
Have you tried Sunrise? What do you think of it?
